Job Title: Construction Laborer
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of tasks on construction sites including site preparation, loading and unloading materials, using tools and machinery, and supporting skilled tradespeople. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building structures, including framing, concrete work, and demolition.
- Load, unload, and distribute materials and tools.
- Operate hand and power tools as needed.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazards.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Report and safety hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Exposure to dust, noise, and construction site hazards.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
